Acting Out Productions of Taylor presents “Yes &”, a Teen Improv Workshop and Performance for students ages 13 to 19. The workshop will be led by the experienced actor and performer, Michael Lomas. Michael Lomas has over 20 years experience with improv, has performed in venues across the US, including Joey’s Comedy Club in Livonia, Comedy Sportz in Ferndale, and has even worked with Second City formerly of Detroit.
Students will spend rehearsal time building an improv show – from naming and designing the show to rehearsing the performance. Michael Lomas will also be donating his paycheck to the parent of an Acting Out Productions family who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Tuition is $50 per student. A $35 deposit is due at the time of registration. Regular rehearsals will be on Saturdays from 11am-2pm, beginning February 20, 2016. Performances will be on April 8 and 9 at 7:30 pm and April 10 at 3:00 pm at the Royal Majestic Theatre inside Trillium Academy 15740 Racho Road in Taylor.
